KANAWHA TRAIL CLUB HIKE: 1:30 p.m., Wallace-Hartman hike. Carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. There is very limited parking, so carpooling from the meeting place is preferred. This moderate hike is approximately 4 miles with some steep hills.
WINTER SERIES WALK/RUN: The 5,000-meter walk begins at 1 p.m. and the 10,000-meter run begins at 2 p.m., 31st Street and Virginia Avenue. Register in the lobby of WVU/CAMC Memorial Hospital. Registration fee is $20 for each event. Sponsored by Charleston Parks and Recreation and Tallman Track Club. KIDS' SNOW BUNNY RUN: 1 p.m., Kanawha City. Ages 4-7 will participate in a 1/4-mile run and ages 8-12 will have a 1/2-mile run. No charge. Registration begins at noon at WVU/CAMC Charleston Division, 3110 MacCorkle Ave. S.E. The run start and finish will be at 31st Street and Virginia Avenue. Parents may run with their child, if needed.
