KANAWHA TRAIL CLUB HIKE: 1:30 p.m., Wallace-Hartman hike. Carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. There is very limited parking, so carpooling from the meeting place is preferred. This moderate hike is approximately 4 miles with some steep hills.  

WINTER SERIES WALK/RUN: The 5,000-meter walk begins at 1 p.m. and the 10,000-meter run begins at 2 p.m., 31st Street and Virginia Avenue. Register in the lobby of WVU/CAMC Memorial Hospital. Registration fee is $20 for each event. Sponsored by Charleston Parks and Recreation and Tallman Track Club. KIDS' SNOW BUNNY RUN: 1 p.m., Kanawha City. Ages 4-7 will participate in a 1/4-mile run and ages 8-12 will have a 1/2-mile run. No charge. Registration begins at noon at WVU/CAMC Charleston Division, 3110 MacCorkle Ave. S.E. The run start and finish will be at 31st Street and Virginia Avenue. Parents may run with their child, if needed. Medals will be awarded to all participants during the awards ceremony. Sponsored by Charleston Parks and Recreation. Call 304-348-6860/304-348-8008.
