Hurricane resident Whitney Stricklin does a flip into the pool at the seventh annual Polar Plunge at Appalachain Power Park in Charleston Saturday. The plunge raises support for the Special Olympics in West Virginia.

Several Polar Plunge jumpers opted not to bare it all, and instead wore a variety of crazy costumes before diving into the icy waters.
